Position Summary

The Store Lead is responsible for driving equipment sales, strengthening key customer relationships, and ensuring cohesive, high-performing operations across the dealership. This role provides direct leadership to the Parts and Service department managers to deliver an exceptional customer experience, achieve financial targets, and support the overall success of the store.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customer accounts by providing proactive support and guidance to ensure success.
  • Lead the parts and service effort within the store by identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and negotiating equipment, service, and support packages.
  • Achieve sales performance goals related to volume, margin, and customer engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with customers to understand their agronomic, operational, and financial priorities, offering recommendations that drive long-term value and business growth.
  • Ensure accurate customer and equipment information is maintained within the CRM to support forecasting, account planning, and personalized service.
  • Provide direct leadership to the Parts and Service Managers, setting clear expectations, coaching performance, and fostering accountability.
  • Promote strong cross-department communication and teamwork to deliver a seamless, positive customer experience.
  • Represent the dealership professionally in all customer interactions, community involvement, and brand-related activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of equipment offerings, technology solutions, aftermarket support, financing programs, and risk management resources.

Qualifications

  • Preferred 3+ years of successful sales experience 
  • 3+ Years of people management experience 
  • Familiarity with John Deere or competitive equipment, along with a solid understanding of technology and agronomic trends. 
  • Knowledge of business, financial, and management practices within related industries. 
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust.
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and insights.
  • Flexibility to work seasonal hours as required by the demands of the role.

Compensation

The following represents Kibble Equipment compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is a salaried role with a starting base of $80,000 and going up to $120,000 based on experience. This role is also incentive eligible and is based on performance.
