Position Summary

Our Transfer Route Driver plays a vital role in ensuring seamless transport and delivery operations, fostering positive interactions with customers and our logistics support team at Platte Valley Equipment. Job Responsibilities

•    Maintain assigned equipment in optimal working condition and ensure cleanliness.
•    Proactively communicate with load requesters to coordinate efficient transport logistics.
•    Adhere to all county, state, and federal safety regulations governing transportation operations. 
•    Maintain all required certifications in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and company policies.
•    Provide basic equipment operating instructions to customers as needed.
•    Deliver excellent customer service and uphold a positive dealer image.
•    Complete any other duties or projects assigned by management.
•    Other duties as assigned by Management.

Transport Job Functions
•    Perform out-of-state transport primarily in the upper Midwest region.
•    Minimal overnight transports required.
•    Responsible for loading and securing transport items.
•    Available for weekend transports and/or deliveries.

Qualifications

•    Basic understanding of large equipment operations is required.
•    High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
•    A Valid Driver’s License is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Forklift experience is preferred.

Compensation

The following represents Brandt Holdings compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is a hourly role with a starting base of $18/hr. and going up to $22/hr. based on experience.
