Position Summary
The Aftermarket Sales Rep will effectively drive retail parts and service sales by building customer relationships and satisfaction in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives. A successful candidate needs to display confidence, be driven to succeed, have effective communication skills, and have a team player mentality. This role also requires critical decision-making skills and a desire to continuously improve and strive towards excellence in the Aftermarket business.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide value to our customers and cultivate positive relationships by selling Parts and Service solutions that meet their specific needs.
- Support all product lines offered by the organization.
- Promote and market all Parts and Service promotions of the organization to increase customer participation and achieve aftermarket goals.
- Increase store sales by fostering growth with both existing and new customers, emphasizing sales opportunities for both John Deere and competing brand equipment.
- Promptly follow up with customers and deliver sound advice to help their business.
- Fill out call reports for each customer visit using dealership systems.
- Communicate customer concerns to the appropriate department manager at the location when needed.
- Profile customer’s fleet of equipment and updates in dealership systems.
- Participates in customer clinics and provides limited technical support where applicable.
- Provide backup support on the front counter during planting and harvest as needed.
- Other duties or projects as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
- Must be a self-starter that independently maintains a high level of motivation with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge of database software, online parts books, etc. and ability to use standard computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain rapport with key accounts.
- Basic knowledge of agricultural equipment and dealership operations.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of Sales experience preferred.

Compensation
The following represents Brandt Holdings compensation estimation based on market data and placement of internal employees. This is a hourly role with a starting base of 36,000 and going up to $52,000 based on experience. This role is also incentive eligible and is based on performance.
