Position Summary
As a Product Support Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in supporting products, customers and co-workers organization wide. Your responsibilities include providing expert knowledge in current and non-current Precision Ag technology, executing pre-season optimization support agreements, and training various departments on equipment optimization and diagnostics. You will play a key role in newly introduced sense and act technology (See and Spray, Autonomy etc.). Key qualities for success include confidence, technical proficiency, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
• Make recommendations to maximize product performance.
• Provide expert knowledge in current and non-current Precision Ag technology, Operations Center, and Service Advisor Remote.
• Assist in executing pre-season optimization support agreements.
• Facilitate Product Demonstrations
• Collaborate with sales department on key accounts developing total farm technology solutions.
• Lead off-season customer training and implement new technologies.
• Provide roll over technical call support for the Precision Ag Support Center through Expert Connect
• Collaborate with the Commercial Sales Team to focus on technology adoption and utilization for Ag Service Providers.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Service, Parts, or Sales department operations.
• Experience providing effective instruction to internal and external customers.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Preferred: Experience with computer functions, Microsoft Office, and diagnostic repair tools. Associates degree preferred.
